About The Position
Research assistants support individual faculty members and/or their teams with various research projects. Depending on the project, duties may involve any or all aspects of the research process, including literature reviews, study conceptualization, methodology development, IRB submission, data collection, data management, data analysis, and presenting and publishing results. Additional job-related duties may be assigned. The position is hourly and requires a background check.
Requirements
- Must be a Psychology major or minor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, research-related technology such as survey software and data analysis software.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Background check required.
Responsibilities
- Assist individual faculty members and/or their teams with research projects.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Contribute to study conceptualization and methodology development.
- Assist with IRB submissions.
- Collect and manage data.
- Analyze data.
- Present and publish research results.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
