The Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville is seeking enthusiastic and qualified instructors to join our instructional team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy teaching and want to make an impact on students’ understanding of psychology. We are currently seeking candidates to teach General Psychology (PSYCHLGY 1130) on the Platteville campus. General Psychology is an introductory course designed to familiarize students with the language and methods of psychology and to examine factors affecting human behavior, including motivation, development, intelligence, personality, and abnormal behavior. This position requires in-person instruction on the Platteville campus; remote or hybrid teaching arrangements are not available. In addition to General Psychology, this posting establishes a pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for other instructional needs in the department as they arise. This allows us to match candidates with courses based on expertise, availability, and departmental needs. Course Catalog: https://catalog.uwplatt.edu/undergraduate/course-descriptions/courses/psychlgy. This position is not eligible for relocation reimbursement, tenure, or Visa sponsorship. Start dates will vary based on instructional needs.
