About The Position

Corewell Health East Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, board eligible clinical psychologist to join our outpatient team. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has opened a new outpatient behavioral health clinic located in Dearborn, MI that will offer psychological testing (comprehensive diagnostic testing, ADHD evaluations) and evidence-based psychotherapy services for adults (age 18 and older) and children (age 4-17). This new clinic is a training site for the Corewell Health Psychiatry Residency Program and this role includes resident and medical student education. We maintain a collaborative professional culture that is focused on the highest quality care for our patients and staff. Early career psychologists and psychologists from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be able to obtain academic faculty status in the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Corewell Health supports ABPP Board Certification. Candidates must be licensed at the doctoral level in the State of Michigan.

Requirements

  • Ph.D or PsyD in psychology
  • Assessment experience with patient populations, especially with learning, behavioral, and developmental disorders.
  • LIC-Psychologist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

  • Conducts family/client interviews.
  • Makes decisions with family regarding evaluation procedures.
  • Administers psychological (and possibly educational) tests, interprets results, and creates assessment reports.
  • Participates in staff conferences, formulates impressions and recommendations.
  • Creates final summary reports.
  • Communicates evaluation results to family/client.
  • Meaningful Participation as part of OUWBSOM Medical Staff, including training of medical residents.
