About The Position

The incumbent will provide psychological assessments, psycho-educational, behavioral and family assessments in regard to children and youth exhibiting emotional/behavioral difficulties and mental health issues/disorders. The incumbent will complete psychological assessment reports and will provide individual, group and family counselling in both mental health and school settings. The incumbent will report to the Manager of Youth MHAS and must be able to work under the direction of the clinical supervisor and collaborate with school and mental health staff. The incumbent will geographically divide their time the Prairie Spirit School Division and Youth Mental Health Services by providing services in both settings. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Requirements

  • Master of Psychology (MPsych)
  • Registered Psychologist (RPsych)
  • Registered doctoral Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)
  • Master of Clinical Psychology is acceptable
  • Master of Educational Psychology is acceptable
