About The Position

The incumbent will provide Psychology services to a primarily adult population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Psychologist, Masters reports directly to the Manager of Adult Community Services or his / her designate.

Requirements

A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
Registered Master Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge in best practice models, current research and relapse prevention
Knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment methods and tools
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in psychological assessments of adult clients
Competently use computers and software applications
Work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Manage time and competing deadlines
Perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions
Meet and work with clients
Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
Work under stress
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs
Utilize computerized assessment & interpretation software packages
Facilitate educational and skill development groups
Provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists

Conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning.
Develop educational resources and presentations.
Collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately.

Perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions.
Meet and work with clients.
Facilitate educational and skill development groups.
Provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills.
