DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position centers on delivering assessments, treatment, and clinical guidance within the Sexual Responsibility and Treatment Program. You help residents progress by providing therapy, documenting improvement, and administering specialized evaluations. As a Psychological Services Specialist, DHS, you will perform the following duties: Assessment Activities: Complete sex offense-specific assessments related to arousal, treatment progress, and risk of reoffending Therapeutic Services: Deliver cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychoeducation to individuals and groups Progress Documentation: Document weekly service delivery and resident improvement according to established requirements Primary Therapy: Provide individualized interventions and coordinate treatment plans, referrals, and ongoing clinical needs Staff Training: Offer consultation and guidance to facility staff on methods for working with the sexual offender population Interested in learning more?
