About The Position

At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, we believe recovery is possible for every individual, and we are honored to walk alongside clients on that journey. Our team is made up of compassionate professionals committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and respectful environment. We are currently seeking a Psychoeducational Facilitator who is passionate about helping individuals build skills, gain insight, and move toward lasting recovery. The Psychoeducational Facilitator provides individual and group chemical dependency counseling and education services, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to learn, grow, and engage in their recovery process. This role also ensures all services are delivered in accordance with Minnesota Rule 245G.

Requirements

  • Fully licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in good standing in Minnesota
  • Familiarity with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 245G and related regulations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, client-centered approach to care
  • Regular use of computers and office equipment
  • Frequent interaction with clients, staff, and partners
  • Ability to move throughout the facility as needed

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging group counseling and psychoeducational sessions
  • Support clients in building insight, skills, and recovery-oriented behaviors
  • Document client participation and progress in accordance with agency policies
  • Communicate with referral sources (with appropriate consent) within three days of admission and weekly thereafter
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director and Mental Health Professionals to support client progress
  • Help clients develop individualized continuing care plans and connect them with community resources
  • Complete required assessments, including Comprehensive Assessments, GAIN-SS, and Initial Service Plans
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clients within five sessions and update them regularly
  • Assess client needs and implement Abuse Prevention Plans when appropriate
  • Engage families and support systems to strengthen recovery outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development in substance use and co-occurring disorders
  • Be an active member of a supportive, collaborative treatment team
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment (light housekeeping and shared responsibilities as needed)
  • Step in to support additional duties as assigned, always in service of client care
