About The Position
Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. Learn more at eLakeviewCenter.org. To be considered for the HCA Residency at Lakeview Center, a candidate must currently be a resident of the Psychiatric Residency program at HCA West Florida. Candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to follow directions and ask questions for clarification of topic. Residencies are work-based activities in which residents engage in learning through practical and relevant experiences at various sites.

- Currently a resident of the Psychiatric Residency program at HCA West Florida.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to dress and behavior guidelines.
- Participate in all approved activities structured by the residency supervisor.
- Complete, sign, and submit all documentation as directed by the supervisor by the requested deadline.
- Communicate with the supervisor throughout the residency experience, especially if concerns or problems need to be addressed.
- Evaluate and share information about the residency experience.
- Comply with the policies and procedures of Lakeview Center, Inc.
- Meet established criteria of the residency placement (not seek internships with family members; maintain passing grades, good attendance, and discipline records; etc.).
- Comply with training requirements.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the site.
- Cooperate with the supervisor; engage in the program as a learning experience; observe business etiquette; and abide by safety rules.
- Demonstrate honesty, punctuality, respect, courtesy, cooperative attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Remain at the assigned placement for the duration of the period except by mutual agreement of all parties.
- Maintain confidentiality guidelines.
