About The Position
Seeking a Psychiatrist for a Locum Tenens position in Muscle Shoals, AL. This is an inpatient role requiring supplemental coverage for a period starting June 29, 2026, and ongoing. Requirements
- Active AL License or IMLC
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical psychiatric services in an inpatient setting.
- Participate in 2nd call/backup with a 1:1 ratio and a 30-minute response time.
- Manage patient volume of approximately 12, including admissions and phone consults.
- Conduct rounding on both assigned and unassigned patients.
- Supervise residents/teaching staff.
