About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist with an interest in Addiction Medicine to join their staff. The Department of Psychiatry Service Line includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Tele psychiatry services. A diverse psychiatric team of MDs, PMHNPs, and Therapists is responsible for psychiatric evaluations and assessments, prescribing and managing medications, NP collaboration/supervision, and occasional consult Liaison coverage including tele psych to other hospitals in the network. The role involves a combination of tele psych and in-person coverage, with inpatient call no more than 1:5 weekdays and 1 weekend per month. There will be interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents. Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. Requirements

• BC/BE Adult Psychiatry
• Completion of an accredited USA Psychiatry Residency
• New York State license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
• Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

• Salary Range: $295,008 - $330,000
