About The Position

The Mosaic Life Care Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist. Join a thriving, forward-thinking behavioral health team at our rapidly expanding clinic in St. Joseph, MO. We are building a truly collaborative, multi-disciplinary service line supported by a robust network of specialists—including child and adolescent psychiatry, women’s health, generalist care, embedded primary care clinicians, and dedicated social workers. As we prepare to relocate into a spacious new facility designed to introduce advanced treatment options like TMS, Spravato, and specialized group therapy, you will also step into a well-established 15-year ECT program backed by seamless PACU and anesthesia collaboration. Deeply rooted in the region and actively involved in the Missouri Hospital Association Psychiatric Board and CIT council, our practice offers the ideal environment for a psychiatrist seeking clinical innovation, comprehensive team support, and strong community impact. The team currently consists of five psychiatrists, two tele-psychiatrists, three mental health nurse practitioners, and two LCSWs in the clinic.

Board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

90% Outpatient/10% Inpatient
Weekend rotation and overnight call shared between 10+ providers
4 – 5-day work week with inpatient call rotation
10 -15 patient encounters per day
Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) to assist with emergencies and/or education throughout the medical center
