Requirements

Licensed to practise medicine in your province of residence
Strong familiarity with the mental health care system, workflows, and physician community.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving digital health environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in medical leadership, administration, or business is an asset.
Knowledge of Rocket Doctor’s EMR, platform extensions, and applicable privacy regulations in Canada and the United States (HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Leading the development of Psychiatric practice on the platform.
Joining the MD Advisor (MDA) team to help strengthen, expand, and optimize Rocket Doctor’s Psychiatric offerings.
Growing the Psychiatric provider community, improving clinical operations within the province, and supporting physicians practicing on the platform.
Supporting recruitment efforts, building physician engagement, helping shape patient workflows, and ensuring a high-quality experience for both patients and providers.
Participating in broader MD Lead initiatives to support cross-provincial alignment and company-wide growth.
Supporting the Provider Success team in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining Psychiatrists in all provinces.
Helping build a strong practice community and encouraging ongoing clinical engagement.
Investigating and responding to patient, provider, or PCC-raised concerns related to the care of psychiatric outpatients.
Reviewing and refining clinical workflows specific to Psychiatry to improve efficiency, compliance, and physician ease of practice.
Maintaining close communication with practicing Psychiatrists on the platform, including active presence on Slack and participation in quarterly group meetings.
Serving as a clinical leader supporting the growth of Rocket Doctor’s psychiatry presence.
Liaising with health authorities, organizations, and partners as appropriate.
Providing input on specialty-specific product needs, regulatory considerations, and physician experience improvements.
Attending and contributing to MD Advisory meetings.
Supporting initial onboarding of new physicians across provinces as needed.
Partnering with the product and operations teams on improvement initiatives.
Providing troubleshooting support on emerging physician issues across all provinces.
Assisting with communications and strategic updates for physicians and Rocket Doctor staff.
Helping coordinate physician meetings and engagement events across Canada.
Serving as a positive, solutions-focused representative of Rocket Doctor’s medical leadership.
Maintaining professionalism as outlined by the regulatory College of your province of residence.
Maintaining clear records of recommendations and decisions.
Handling all confidential company and patient information with discretion.
