Part-time Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - Tiptonville, TN (81236)
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a part-time (2-day per week) Psychiatrist to join their team at Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee. This is a telehealth-based position with only one on-site day required per month. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients. They will work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
- Active DEA
- Must pass background screening, drug test and credentialing
Responsibilities
- Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
- Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
- Provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
