About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to work one day per week at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville, Tennessee. The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director. The role also provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Tennessee license.
• Active, unrestricted DEA.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
