About The Position

Chaplains are frontline staff who fulfill MCHAP’s mission and Christian ministry by using their gifts and talents to serve company employees and their immediate families. This part-time position is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and is approximately 40 hours per month. Assigned hours are generally consistent from week to week, but there are no guaranteed minimum hours; positional needs vary depending on chaplain availability and client requirements. They may facilitate employee-led spiritual enrichment activities, provide literature and resources, represent companies in appropriate ministry-related situations, and participate in new employee orientation. With permission from the Executive Director of Operations, they may also respond to other duties and services requested by company leadership within the scope of the agreement between MCHAP chaplains and the company.
