About The Position

Allina Health is seeking a psychiatrist to join our team at Abbott Northwestern Mental Health Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This opportunity offers a practice model for psychiatrists who value meaningful clinical work, schedule predictability, and strong practice support. For a 1.0 FTE, this role offers 32–36 contact hours and some remote work flexibility. Hospital call is minimal, providing additional flexibility for physicians seeking greater balance and control over their schedule. Abbott Northwestern Mental Health Clinic is located on the hospital campus, where Allina Health provides a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty services, including mental health and addiction care. This role is designed for psychiatrists who want strong clinical engagement in behavioral health with reliable organizational resources and support. Here, psychiatrists practice within a setting connected to a broader continuum of mental health and addiction care. The hospital based mental health clinics at Allina Health are specialty clinics offering neuromodulation, perinatal, child/adolescent, addiction and geriatric psychiatry programs. They're part of a robust team of psychiatry, psychology, nursing and social work services to serve the complex patient population.
