About The Position
Alliance for Wellness is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their physician-founded and physician-led psychiatric group. The role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care at Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, CA, supporting the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU). The position offers a collaborative team approach, clinical autonomy with excellent support, and flexible scheduling. The group utilizes both onsite and telepsychiatry models and is looking for passionate providers dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
- California medical license required
- Ability to manage all aspects of psychiatric care, including consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, and related patient care.
- Willingness to provide telehealth services.
- Ability to round in-person on the Behavioral Health Unit.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospital EMR utilization.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multidisciplinary team.
- Utilize the hospital EMR for collaborative and efficient patient care.
- Provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone.
- Manage all aspects of psychiatric care, including consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, and related patient care.
