About The Position

The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their licensure. They will participate in the leadership of the program by communicating with Program staff and members served, and by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This is a part-time position with a caseload of 16, with Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred. Telecare is an established mental health company founded in 1965, focused on delivering excellent and effective behavioral health services. The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 16-bed facility serving residents 19+ diagnosed with a serious mental illness who are experiencing mental-health related difficulties.

Requirements

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
• Successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry.
• Active DEA in good standing.
• Independent Contractors must provide their own malpractice insurance.
