Psychiatrist - Kern CSU/FRC
About The Position
The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their licensure. They will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. The Psychiatrist will ensure superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, onsite. There is optional on-call availability by phone for emergencies only, compensated up to $400 per night. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, and the pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA in good standing
