About The Position

The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their licensure. They will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. The Psychiatrist will ensure superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. This is a part-time position with a caseload of 16, with Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred. The Recovery Center at Sarpy is a 16-bed facility serving residents 19+ who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness and are currently experiencing mental-health related difficulties.

Requirements

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
• Active DEA in good standing

Responsibilities

• Direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure.
• Participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served.
• Ensure superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
