About The Position
Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a psychiatrist to join our growing Department of Psychiatry located in Southern New Jersey. This is a full-time position with an academic faculty appointment with experience to obtain the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The selected candidate will be expected to provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within two health systems in South Jersey. This role will work closely with the clinical staff for the day-to-day treatment of patients as well as in an academic capacity to teach medical students, residents, and allied health professionals. This position is available for academic promotion within the university.
Requirements
- Valid NJ Medical License
- CDS
- DEA
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care.
- Inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within two health systems in South Jersey.
- Work closely with the clinical staff for the day-to-day treatment of patients
- Teach medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
