Remote ACT Psychiatrist (Part-Time) - MI License Preferred
About The Position
Iris Telehealth is seeking a passionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a flexible, fully remote, part-time opportunity to provide high-quality care within a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) partner in an ACT setting, treating patients aged 18+. The role involves working 20 hours per week with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, focusing on patient care while supported by administrative and IT teams. The position requires a Michigan medical license, Board Certification in Psychiatry, and experience in ACT settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a diverse patient population and meeting ACT/IDDT operational and clinical expectations.
Requirements
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry Required.
- ACT experience required.
- Availability for 20 hours per week during EST hours.
- Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
Nice To Haves
- Active Michigan medical license strongly preferred.
- Telehealth experience preferred.
- Experience using PCE a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality behavioral health care to patients aged 18+ in an ACT setting.
- Treat patients with moderate acuity, including diagnoses such as SPMI, SUD, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, psychotic disorders, IDD, dual diagnosis, depression, ODD, and ADHD.
- Participate in case consultations, address urgent clinical needs, coordinate care, and complete court documentation.
- Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver integrated dual disorder treatment.
- Adhere to MDHHS training and service requirements.
- Meet ACT/IDDT operational and clinical expectations.
