About The Position

The Center provides comprehensive care for both children and adolescent populations with psychological issues, as well as adults facing psychiatric and substance abuse challenges. Beyond its clinical offerings, Lighthouse Care Center supports patient recovery with recreational activities and an accredited on-campus school, promoting wellness through physical activity and social interaction. This is a full-time psychiatrist position, with a leadership opportunity available. The role involves treating child/adolescent and adult populations. The schedule is 5 days a week, with daytime hours. Weekend coverage includes 1:4 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding. There is one evening call shift per week by phone only. Employment options include full-time employed or 1099. The role will have an RTC/Inpatient/Outpatient mix, ideally covering child-adult populations. There is additional earnings potential through extra call options and a Productivity Bonus Plan.

Requirements

M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry.
Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Minimum of 5 years post fellowship preferred.
Willing and experienced treating ages 12 and older.

Nice To Haves

BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus.
Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
Supervision of NPs.
