About The Position
This wage position provides direct care to mentally ill patients in an assigned unit at Eastern State Hospital. The role is accountable to the LPN, RN I, RN II, or RN MGR I and works according to the philosophy and objectives of Eastern State Hospital’s Department of Nursing and the hospital’s mission, goals, and objectives. The position is part-time and offers evening hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or night hours from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. No benefits are provided.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with individuals with challenging mental health and behavior issues in a public, residential, or psychiatric hospital.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to mentally ill patients in an assigned unit.
- Carry out care according to the Department of Nursing’s philosophy and objectives and the hospital’s mission, goals, and objectives.
