About The Position
We’re hiring 2 experienced Nurse Managers to lead a Behavioral Health unit at a hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This is a direct hire / contract-to-hire opportunity with strong leadership impact and growth potential.
Requirements
- RN license (NY) + BSN required
- 5+ years RN experience with 5+ years in psychiatry
- 2+ years in leadership within a hospital-based psych unit
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance & quality improvement
- BLS, ACLS, Crisis Management certification
Nice To Haves
- Master’s preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of a psychiatric unit in collaboration with senior leadership
- Oversee patient care, staffing, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to DOH, JCAHO, and OMH regulatory standards
- Drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes
- Support staff development and maintain a high-performing clinical team
