This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health Unit, working a 2nd shift from 3pm-3:30am. As an RN, the role involves providing and directing safe, effective, and culturally-competent mental health care for patients ranging from children to aging adults.
Requirements
- No experience required
- Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year
- Basic Life Support
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Nice To Haves
- Certified in Mental Health Nursing
- Baccalaureate in Nursing
Responsibilities
- Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent mental health care for children through aging adult patient populations
- Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
- Adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
- Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities
