About The Position
The role is responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients and overseeing the work of other occupational therapists. It also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support the best possible patient outcomes. The position is based onsite at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts, and is per diem on the day shift.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy; experience cannot be substituted for the degree.
- Three to five years of occupational therapist experience.
- Experience in a mental health setting.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License.
- Occupational Therapist state license.
