About The Position

Ellie Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team and launch a new medication management service line. This role offers the chance to shape psychiatric services in a growing outpatient setting, providing integrated psychiatric care. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care for adolescents, adults, and older adults, supported by a strong administrative and clinical team. Requirements

Fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
Active license in at least one of the following states: Maryland
Active DEA or CDS license
Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management

Nice To Haves

Multi-state licensure preferred
Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
Comfort managing a high-functioning outpatient caseload
Experience working with insurance-based populations
Comfort treating a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders)
Interest in helping develop and grow a new service line

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (initial assessments)
Diagnose mental health conditions and develop medication treatment plans
Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as needed
Maintain timely and accurate documentation (evaluations and med management notes)
Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements
