About The Position

Ellie Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their expanding team. This role is crucial for launching a new medication management service line, offering integrated psychiatric care. The position provides an opportunity to shape psychiatric services in a high-growth outpatient setting, with support from a strong administrative and clinical team. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Requirements

Fully licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
Active license in at least one of the following states: Maryland
Multi-state licensure preferred
Active DEA or CDS license
Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management

Nice To Haves

Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
Comfort managing a high-functioning outpatient caseload
Experience working with insurance-based populations
Comfort treating a range of conditions (anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders)
Interest in helping develop and grow a new service line

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (initial assessments)
Diagnose mental health conditions and develop medication treatment plans
Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as needed
Maintain timely and accurate documentation (evaluations and med management notes)
Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated, whole-person care
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and payer requirements
