Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is hiring full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (APRN) to support individuals at its new Clermont County Receiving Center. The center provides rapid response, short-term stabilization, and coordinated follow-up for people experiencing a behavioral health crisis, offering an alternative to emergency rooms or incarceration. It is a partnership with local law enforcement and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The role involves psychiatric assessment and individualized treatment planning; prescribing and managing medications for acute and chronic psychiatric conditions; crisis intervention, risk assessment, and care coordination; and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The practitioner collaborates with physicians, care managers, and the broader care team, engages families when appropriate, and participates in Receiving Center operations and best practices in crisis care delivery. GCBHS is a nonprofit community behavioral healthcare organization with approximately 650 staff serving more than 30,000 individuals annually.
