About The Position
This is a full-time 1099 opportunity designed for NPs who want to build a high-volume practice and maximize their earning potential. At Lavender, you have the flexibility of an independent contractor while benefiting from a robust clinical and operational support system. With strong patient demand, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work a full-time schedule, experienced NPs can have the opportunity to earn $200,000+ annually, depending on their hourly rate, availability, and appointment volume. Our NPs are able to build their schedules within our operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, giving you the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you while maintaining a consistent full-time caseload. If you're looking for the autonomy of private practice without having to build the practice infrastructure yourself, this could be a great fit.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Pennsylvania Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
- ANCC Board Certification
- 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
- Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ambitious, client-centered work ethic
- Comfortable managing a full-time telepsychiatry caseload
- Must have your own computer and a quiet, professional space for telepsychiatry appointments
- Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
- ANCC Board Certification (Required)
- DEA Certification (Required)
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication management, therapy, or a combination of both.
- Proactively follow up with clients at least monthly to assess the efficacy of recommended interventions and provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved.
- Provide various modalities of talk therapy in addition to medication management.
