About The Position
Professional Care Medical Practices PC is a private, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice providing comprehensive medical and mental health care in New York. The organization describes correctional health care as a blend of primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and addiction medicine, serving an underserved and diverse patient population. The part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide onsite services at Ulster County Jail in Kingston, New York. This position is scheduled for 8 hours per week, consisting of one full day. Salaries are negotiable and commensurate with experience; the listed hourly rate is $70–$80.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- Maintain a current DEA license.
- Maintain active BLS (CPR) certification.
- Maintain a current driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite psychiatric services at Ulster County Jail in Kingston, New York.
