About The Position
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides inpatient psychiatric care in Cleveland, Ohio. This locum tenens position provides supplemental coverage on a clinical-only basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing on an ongoing basis. Shift schedule, patient volume, and EMR details are to be determined. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active Ohio license.
- Board certification (BC).
- DEA registration.
Responsibilities
- Provides appropriate treatment and referral according to each individual’s needs.
- Prescribes and administers medication.
- Supervises special diet requirements.
- Initiates and/or ensures an appropriate response to all medical emergencies.
