About The Position
MDB Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care and psychotropic medication management to residents of long-term care facilities in the Fort Worth, Texas area. The position is part-time and follows standard business hours. The work setting is long-term care facilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing, or an equivalent qualification.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in Texas.
- AANP/ANCC credentials and a DEA license are required.

- Familiarity with clinical documentation practices and occupational health principles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.
- Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications.
- Collaborate with facility staff and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives when applicable.
