About The Position
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing psychiatric care services to adult and geriatrics patients in an inpatient setting. The coverage period is from August 10 to December 31, 2026, with a shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The average daily patient volume is 10. The agency will cover travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in NY
- BLS certification
- NPDB Report

- Experience with Epic EMR system
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care services to adult and geriatrics patients.
- Maintain a minimum patient volume of 10 patients per day.
- Co-sign all notes with an MD.
