About The Position
A locum tenens Psychiatric NP/PA position in Canton, Georgia, providing psychiatric care during the coverage period from December 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. The schedule is day shift, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with 8.5 hours per shift and five shifts per week. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP) is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
