About The Position
This locum tenens Nurse Practitioner position provides clinical-only, outpatient coverage in Portland, Oregon. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday for approximately four days per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning November 2, 2026, and continuing on an ongoing basis. Coverage is needed due to a vacancy related to maternity/paternity leave. The clinician will provide outpatient care for pediatric ENT patients approximately 2.5–3 days per week and conduct postoperative visits for pediatric urology patients approximately 0.5–1 day per week. The practice sees an average of 14 patients per day. The facility uses Epic and has support from registered nurses, medical assistants, other PAs/NPs, and office staff. Hospital privileges are not required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Licensed in Oregon.
- DEA registration required.
- BLS certification required.
- ENT experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Urology experience preferred.
- Flexible endoscopy experience preferred.
- Nasal cautery and foreign body removal experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinic coverage for pediatric ENT patients approximately 2.5–3 days per week.
- Conduct postoperative visits for pediatric urology patients approximately 0.5–1 day per week.
- Perform wound assessments and remove sutures.
- Evaluate tonsil, adenoid, and otitis media cases.
- Perform flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, and foreign body removal as needed.
