About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for patients admitted to the medical hospital who require behavioral health services. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Board Certified PMHNPs (PMHNP-BC)
- Certified Physician Assistants (PA-C) with CAQ-Psych or psychiatric experience
- Experienced inpatient psychiatric providers
- New graduates with strong psychiatric clinical rotations and psychiatric RN experience
- Comfortable working in hospital-based settings
- Passionate about treating adults with acute psychiatric conditions
- Team-oriented and patient-focused
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations
- Medication management
- Collaborative treatment planning for patients admitted to the medical hospital requiring behavioral health services
- Perform psychiatric assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
