About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their growing team in the Jacksonville, Florida market. This onsite Weekend Warrior opportunity is ideal for providers seeking a consistent schedule consisting of two 12-hour shifts every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) providing inpatient psychiatric rounding in a collaborative hospital environment. This role offers flexibility, excellent clinical support, and the opportunity to join one of the Southeast's fastest growing physician-led psychiatry organizations. Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional behavioral healthcare

Nice To Haves

  • Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care
  • Perform weekend inpatient psychiatric rounding
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, and hospital leadership
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care
