About The Position
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) position is part of the Nursing team within the Division of Residential Resources. The Psychiatric/DD Nurse (RN) will work on-site with the Nursing Department at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center in Toledo, OH. The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) mission is to partner with people and communities to support Ohioans with developmental disabilities and their families in realizing their version of a good life. Requirements
- Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.

Responsibilities
- Assess/evaluate nursing & medical needs of people served at the developmental center
- Direct/implement nursing care plan
- Observe, evaluate, & record patient behavior, condition & response to medication & treatments
- Coordinate clinical & medical appointments
- Provide professional nursing care
- Assist in feeding and grooming individuals
- Respond to emergencies
- Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, individual care, etc.
- Serve on interdisciplinary treatment team
