About The Position
Psychiatric Call Center APP (PMHNP/PA) Consult Liaison Services - Onsite. Join Ally Psychiatry. Ally Psychiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Psychiatric Call Center team. This unique Consult Liaison position combines onsite psychiatric consultation services in Chattanooga with remote support for hospitals throughout Tennessee. Working alongside a collaborative team of psychiatrists and Advanced Practice Providers, you'll provide timely psychiatric evaluations, consultation services, and treatment recommendations that help hospitals deliver exceptional behavioral healthcare. Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
- Active or eligible for state licensure in applicable states
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative physician led model
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, emergency psychiatry, hospital medicine, or consult liaison experience preferred
- Experience with telepsychiatry is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite psychiatric consultation and liaison services at our Chattanooga hospital partner
- Deliver remote psychiatric consultations to hospitals across Tennessee using secure telepsychiatry technology
- Evaluate patients and develop evidence based treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, hospitalists, emergency departments, nursing teams, therapists, and case management
- Support inpatient psychiatric admissions, medical floor consultations, and continuity of behavioral healthcare
- Document encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
- Build strong relationships with hospital partners through exceptional communication and teamwork
