About The Position
Tapestry Hospice & Palliative Care is a family-owned and operated organization with over 16 years of experience providing compassionate care to patients and families in North Georgia. They are seeking an exceptional On-Call Registered Nurse (RNOC) to join their interdisciplinary team. The RNOC will provide holistic, skilled nursing care to hospice patients and their families outside of normal business hours, focusing on comfort, peace, and compassion during critical moments. The role involves guiding patients with dignity and supporting loved ones with confidence and compassion.
Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- Strong clinical assessment and time-management skills
- Comfort performing admissions and pronouncements
- Passion for patient-centered, compassionate care
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the team

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care using the nursing process
- Collaborate closely with the Interdisciplinary Team
- Perform admissions, follow-up visits, and patient pronouncements
- Manage pain and symptoms with confidence and expertise
- Educate patients and families and evaluate outcomes
- Offer compassionate support to families at the time of death
- Maintain high standards of clinical competence and professionalism
