Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field plus independent licensure (Psychologist) and clinical leadership experience required
  • 5 years program specific clinical experience
  • Knowledge of children with complex psychiatric illnesses
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and evaluate Master’s level and licensed clinicians as well as student interns. Provide individual and group supervision (via clinical team) and provide on-going guidance and training to clinical staff and interns.
  • Assist in the hiring, performance management and evaluation process of clinical staff.
  • Manage the application/acceptance process for psych interns. Coordinate with other psychologists on staff to make decisions about offering interviews & placements to applicants. Manage follow-up with accepted applicants prior to the start of their placement. Communicate, as needed, with graduate schools about application process and student progress throughout the school year. Assist in the evaluation process of psych interns.
  • Lead weekly Psych Testing Program seminar.
  • Oversee the referral, intake and discharge process for the Psych Testing Program. Assign Psych Testing cases to staff and interns. Monitor staff and intern caseload level, case progression and billing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor Psych Testing Program materials inventory.
  • Participate in administrative team meetings, including supervisor team meetings.
  • Participate in crisis prevention and intervention as needed.
  • Provide rotating on call coverage.
  • May be required to carry mobile device.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
