About The Position

The PST Foreman supervises, assigns, coordinates, and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their skill, experience, and job knowledge. The foreman supervises and trains employees to improve the quality and quantity of their work, recommends training to improve employee skill and productivity, and assists in developing training procedures. The position turns broad strategies into practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to carry them out. It is responsible for compliance with technical requirements, including drawings and procedures, and oversees manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that can significantly affect company performance. The foreman supervises qualified trades staff and monitors job and budget performance across all shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, OR apprentice certification, OR high school education and four years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience, OR an associate degree in a trade/technical field and three years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade, or military experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
