About The Position
Make a meaningful difference in your community as a PSR Paraprofessional with Universal Mental Health in Asheville. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate professional to support our Psycho-Social Rehabilitation (PSR) Program and help individuals build daily living, social, and community functioning skills in a structured, recovery-focused environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals participating in the Psycho-Social Rehabilitation (PSR) Program
- Assist participants with developing daily living, socialization, coping, and community functioning skills
- Support a structured, person-centered environment that promotes recovery and independence
- Document services and participant progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding participant needs and program activities
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful interactions with participants and families
