About The Position

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Public Safety Compliance Officer for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for assisting Legends Global Management in Public Safety Operations regarding NFL and NBA Best Practices. Coordinating with Management issues involving patron complaints/issues and Team Members performance/attire on the job. This position is to serve as an extension of Legends Global Management regarding Patron/Team Member concerns and service.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proven Security skills
  • Proven ability to effectively verbally communicate and write reports
  • Ability to communicate with, and understand instructions from immediate supervisor and Facility Management
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to maneuver around both facilities
  • Must dress in professional business attire
  • Must have availability as needed for event scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Observe Team Members prior to briefing and again prior to going on post to ensure that they are appropriately dressed and in possession of any pertinent items (i.e., Information Sheets, Flashlights, etc.)
  • Receives calls from Facility Management staff (including Command Post) and then directs the information to the appropriate party by following proper radio etiquette and the chain of command
  • Has a full working understanding of all Public Safety Team Member functions well as all event logistics and possess the ability to communicate to staff when corrective action regarding appearance (i.e., attire) and communication with the public is needed.
  • Following each event, communicates with Public Safety Manager on issues of concern noted on event log and recommendations to improve. Will complete a post-event report indicating issues of concern and resolution of the issue
  • Will conduct Compliance Checks of all areas assigned and coordinate with Management to correct issues as they arise.
  • Will have contact Facility Management in the case that an emergency arises and the issue is deemed to be handled at a higher level.
  • All other duties as assigned
