About The Position

Part of a service organization, reporting to the Operations Manager, the main responsibilities of this position is to manage various day-to-day operations related to the integration and operation of Motorola’s radio communication system. Following processes based on ITIL, the candidate will manage equipment, incidents and lead and assist in various meetings, take actions and follow-ups within the organisation, build dashboards and tracking tools for customer and management, follow-up with sub-contractor, third party suppliers and the customer. Faisant partie d’une organisation de services relevant responsable des opérations, les principales responsabilités de ce poste consistent à gérer diverses opérations quotidiennes liées aux incidents et à l’exploitation du système de communication radio de Motorola. En suivant les processus basés sur ITIL, le candidat gérera les incidents, dirigera et assistera à diverses réunions, entreprendra des actions et des suivis au sein de l’organisation, construira et maintiendra des tableaux de bord et des outils de suivi pour la clientèle et les sous-traitants, les fournisseurs tiers et le client.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the radiocommunication field and/or IT is mandatory.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a must, both written and oral.
  • Strong expertise in logic, diagnostic and communication with the ability to explain complex problems, situations and issues to a wide span of auditors.
  • Familiar with the equipment used to support communication systems (radio systems).
  • Experience with the usual office tools mainly MS Word & Excel as well as Google Productivity Suite (G Suite).
  • Experience in project coordination.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the radiocommunications and/or IT field is mandatory.
  • Bilingual in French and English is essential, both written and oral.
  • Strong expertise in logic, diagnostics and communication with the ability to explain complex problems, situations and issues to a wide range of auditors.
  • Familiar with the equipment used to support communication systems (radio systems).
  • Experience with the usual office tools, mainly MS Word and Excel, as well as Google Productivity Suite (G Suite) and Gemini.
  • The candidate must pass a security clearance conducted by the Sûreté du Québec.
  • This person must have professional experience with public safety communication systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a high level of autonomy and rely on their own judgment to achieve desired results while receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on

  • Maintain a high quality level of communication between the customer , process owner and the rest of the organization.
  • Evaluate situations and propose solutions.
  • Be involved in process optimizations.
  • Ensure the performance, accuracy, quality, integrity and security of our operations.
  • Be able to work with all levels of customer’s organization from the basic user to the division manager.
  • Provide competent support and communicate efficiently with our customers, subcontractors and teammates.
  • Capacity to quickly assess various situations and respond in a timely manner using expertise in logic and diagnosis on the various systems supported.
