Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social service fields.
  • 3 years of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or management and at least 2 year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing implementation and compliance with the Interim Final Rule to prevent, detect, and respond to sexual abuse and sexual harassment involving child refugees.
  • Responsible for creating, implementing and updating policies for preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and harassment.
  • Responsible for developing and delivering training for staff (every 6 months) and youth on PSA policies and reporting.
  • Responsible for assisting Program Management in the investigation of SA/SIR where sexual abuse or sexual harassment has been reported.
  • Responsible for fostering a climate of zero tolerance for abuse and ensuring a safe and supported environment for all youth in care.
  • Responsible for maintaining PSA CAR and all corrective action plans to include all supportive documentation.
