About The Position

NCR Atleos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with DevOps experience to build secure, scalable, resilient, cloud-native solutions. This hybrid role is based in Atlanta and focuses on Azure cloud engineering, C#/.NET application development, REST APIs and microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation. The engineer will collaborate with corporate network and cloud architects and project teams, participate in architecture review board reviews, and help define project cloud infrastructure. The role supports cloud security, operations, governance, platform maturity, automation, and organizational cloud adoption, while maintaining secure, efficient, scalable, available, performant, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Requirements

Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering and cloud-native application development.
Strong expertise in C#/.NET application development.
Strong expertise in REST API and microservices development.
Expertise in API security, authentication, and authorization, including OAuth2/JWT.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
Experience with Helm, ARM, Terraform, and ASO for automation and configuration management.
Understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs.
Knowledge of cloud security practices, including identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance.
Experience managing GitHub repositories, GitOps, and branching models such as Gitflow or Trunk Based Development.

Nice To Haves

Good understanding of Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of secure development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with corporate network architects, cloud architects, and project teams to define cloud infrastructure for projects.
Participate in architecture review board reviews.
Secure the cloud environment by implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant company regulations.
Oversee day-to-day cloud environment operations to ensure services are available, performant, and cost-effective.
Manage platform maturity, governance, and automation so cloud adoption aligns with organizational policies and standards.
Drive technical changes needed for cloud adoption.
Manage technical solutions, business alignment, project management, and operations for adopted solutions.
Maintain a secure, efficient, and scalable cloud environment.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, containerization, and monitoring tools.
Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources and maintain consistent, repeatable environments.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance in cloud-based applications.
Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance.
