About The Position

NCR Atleos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with DevOps experience to build secure, scalable, resilient, cloud-native solutions. The role focuses on Azure cloud engineering; C#/.NET application development; REST APIs and microservices; CI/CD; infrastructure as code; and automation. The position is hybrid and based in Atlanta. The engineer will collaborate with network and cloud architects and project teams to define project cloud infrastructure, including participating in architecture review board reviews. The role also focuses on securing and operating cloud environments, overseeing platform maturity and governance, and driving technical changes for cloud adoption while maintaining secure, efficient, and scalable solutions. Requirements

Expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering and cloud-native application development.
Experience with C#/.NET application development, REST APIs, and microservices.
Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization, including OAuth2/JWT.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
Experience automating cloud resource provisioning and management using IaC tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
Experience with automation and configuration management using HELM, ARM, Terraform, and ASO.
Knowledge of resiliency practices, including high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance for cloud applications.
Experience managing repositories with GitHub, GitOps, and branching models such as Gitflow or trunk-based development.
Understanding of cloud networking concepts including virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance.

Nice To Haves

Good understanding of Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of secure development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with corporate network architects, cloud architects, and project teams to define cloud infrastructure for projects.
Participate in architecture review board reviews.
Secure cloud environments by implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant company regulations.
Oversee day-to-day cloud environment operations to ensure services are available, performant, and cost-effective.
Manage platform maturity, governance, and automation to align cloud adoption with organizational policies and standards.
Drive technical changes needed for cloud adoption.
Manage technical solutions, business alignment, project management, and operations for adopted solutions.
Maintain a secure, efficient, and scalable cloud environment.
